XG on a i7-6700T

Looking at selling my i3-6100T and swapping it out for a i7-6700T, anyone running one of these CPUs on their XG?

My XG is currently running on a Xeon E3-1240L PowerEdge.

Need to have a clearout of kit, so prob will sell off the surplus kit, as got too many bits of kit running various firewall flavours. XG, pfsense, Untangle.

Hello,

The I7-6700T should work fine with XG, the performance of It is comparable to the XG 430 Rev. 2.

Well, for a Home Network, It's more than enough.

That was my thought re being fine, thank you for referencing a Sophos XG model.

Currently got PowerEdge R220, Pondesk unit and a SFF PC with an H110i motherboard, all with Intel NICs or PCIe add on cards.
