Hi, I have tried opening a support ticket as well as searching on these forums but I cannot seem to get a straight answer. I'm using an XG450.
With Covid making work from home mandatory for a lot of employees, management is now asking me to produce detailed SSL VPN logs which makes sense. The problem is the report viewer and log viewer give me almost nothing!
The reporting itself only shows how many connections and the data they transferred, that's it. So even if I narrow my scope to a single day it will just show a user connected 1 time and transferred 100MB. That doesn't really tell me much though.
Using the log viewer I found under the authentication tab I could see a timestamp of when a user authenticated on the SSL VPN and also disconnected! This is fantastic and at least a start, but then the log viewer only went back for a day or two. Not to mention i'd have to copy/paste the data but I'm fine with that.
Is there a way to extend the logs for that or is there anything I can do to actually view some more historical data? I figure there is a memory limit which is why its set that way but even if its temporary I was hoping to change something to extend out my logs.
On that note, is there anyone else that has been asked a similar question and was able to find a solution? Any help or info would be greatly appreciated, thank you!!
