XG Firewall V18 - Apple Mac users not appearing in live Users (Current Activity)

Dear all,

I'm looking for guidance on how to report live user activities. I have a very simple configuration of an XG 125 firewall, 6 Apple Mac computers.

I have NO Active Directory services, so looking through the various articles I have applied the following:

1.. Registered the users on the XG firewall Authentication > Users

2.. Downloaded the client Authentication Agent for Mac OS from Sophos.

3.. Applied the certificate in the above download to both 'login' and 'system' keychains on my MAC

4.. Transferred the Client Authentication Image to 'Applications' on my MAC

5.. Created a firewall rule to 'match known users' with my username defined allowing access for LAN > WAN traffic.

I can see the client authentication process running on my MAC, I look on my user activities and there are no records at all.

If I invoke the user portal login screen via https://172.16.16.16 and key in my username and password, this places an entry under Current Activities, but under remote user which is odd as its the same LAN as my MAC.

In essence this is for reporting, such that I can see activity based on a user rather than 'Unidentified'. I've made sure the user account matches that on the MAC itself. I feel either there is a step I've missed out or this is completely the wrong way to achieve what I'm attempting to achieve.

Any advice greatly welcome.

Kind regards Dave.
