Installing Free Home Firewall on Virtual machine

Question

Hi, 
 First time installer here. Currently trying to make the most of my time working at home to practice installing Sophos Firewall. This is the route that I am hoping to head down in my career. 
 Does anyone have a basic guide to follow? 
 Is there a certain free VM that is best to use? 
 Does anyone have any general tips on what I am trying to do? 
 Any help and advice that can be passed to me will be much appreciated. Be gentle, this is my first post.

Hi Kevin, 
 I use this at home. There is a home license of Sophos XG for non-commercial home use: 
 Free Firewall for Home Edition | Sophos Home Firewall 
 When you want to test the Sophos XG in your company you can install it and have 30 days time to test all features. After that you need a license or you can use the basic firewall with limited features.
