EXCLUDING ONE DEVICE FROM POLICIES NOT WORKING

pity about the  big test.

There is an unacknowledged bug in the current version (at the very minimum) of XG where you cannot provide connectivity using the IP address of a device in the Network field. I have found you need to create a clientless user and use the match known user field to identify the device.

2/. add -> name of device -> IP address of device -> dummy email address -> user name (I use device name) -> group *you can create one or use the default'

3/. save

4/. to ensure that the same IP address is used I also implement static IP addressing.

i followed ur instruction but that is not working

the Device is unable to connecte to internet or ping 8.8.8.8 ,i added it to clientless and in rule i added it to match user

you open logviewer and filter on the ip address of your pc.

you need to change the source network as I advised to your LAN/any then try again.
