Sophos XG 18 Quad Port NIC Support

Hi everyone!

First post here & I'm keen to try out Sophos for my home network. Frankly the selling point that I won't have to spend the day looking at Suricata logs hooked me instantly.

I've been trying to install XG software edition (v18 MR4) onto a Lenovo M710e and it goes OK apart from the NIC I've got in it - for some reason when the OS loads, two ports on my Intel i340-T4 seem to disappear. Really strange as far as issues go but I've been able to isolate it to XG, as Ubuntu live or PFsense both detect all the ports and the links go up when I plug into a switch or PC. Swapping the card for a known good also fails.

I'm at a loss so anyone got any thoughts?

Something very strange appears to be happening - I've just tried with an i350 and that's having the same issues. Doing an lspci shows all 4 ports though so this seems like a software glitch to me.

Tried remaking the USB & verifying the download's hash but no luck. Are there mirrors of older versions at all?

You could try v17.5.x and then upgrade from that version, otherwise no.
