Low flow

Hello everyone and Happy New Year to you.

I am having a big problem with my sophos XG Home.
I tried to update to SFOS 18.0.4 MR-4 version (I'm in SFOS 17.5.15 MR-15 version)
With version 18 I had big flow problem (flow divided at least 15).
I have verified the sound network card at 1000 Mbps - Full Duplex and I have no IPS activated

I finally opted for a return to SFOS 17.5.15 MR-15 and the same punishment whereas before the transition to 18 I had no problem.

When I connect by cable to the box of my operator I have a very good speed whereas if I connect behind the sophos there I have a bad speed
Do you have an idea ?

    Hi ,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!

Are there any errors on the interface (ifconfig)? Did you configure interface speed manually or automatically?

How are you testing the speed? Did you use any advanced filtering on your firewall rules?

    Thanks,

  • Hello patel
Thank you for having responded to my message.

Sorry I took a long time to answer you but I had to do some test.
To be sure that it is the sophos XG home that is causing me a problem

I have done several flow tests with iperf3 from my internal network

The server is my nas synology and the client is my laptop

If my nas and my laptop are on the same subnet, no flow concerns
The problem occurs when the two devices are not on the same subnet (VLAN)

At first I thought that the problem could be my switch but he is not the cause.

I connected my laptop and my sophos XG Home directly by cable
And I still have a reduced flow.

I hope I was clear enough
