Internet gateway (Bridge Mode) - How you access XG admin portal

Hi,

I am still learning and set the XG 125 as "Internet gateway (Bridge Mode)"

now all LAN ports gets IP from router. I am unable to access XG.

How can I access it back via web portal and reset ?

You can give the Bridge Interface a own IP or you use an own interface for Management. This should be configured in the installation process of this Bridge.

I am afraid I didn't do that. or may have done but didn't log. next time I am going to record :)

This round, I need to restore it back to factory default again. Any other method?

Hi,

a serial cable (USB) into the serial port will give you console access as long as you know the password.

Actually, with a Serial cable you can restore the password. https://support.sophos.com/support/s/article/KB-000035990?language=en_US

But still its not that easy to configure a IP on the Bridge. You could try ifconfig and do it that way.
