Swapping network cards

Hi,

Running Sophos XG on a Dell PowerEdge R220 at the moment, move back to the Dell after enabling SSL inspection etc. and found the PondDesk too slow re admin.  The Dell PowerEdge server has two onboard NICs (not shown in Sophos, can't remember if I disabled them in the BIOS). and a 4 Port Intel VT 1000 NIC can't remember the model number, it's from a HPE ProLiant server.  The current config has WAN interface, MGMT, LAN and IOT.  All plugged into a switch with the relevant VLANs defined as native for the port.

What I am wishing to do due to potential switch port capacity (16 Port switch), is remove the Intel NIC for a Intel Pro/1000Pt Dual Server NIC  I'll then change the config on the interface 2 and switch port for MGMT to be the native and other networks tagged to the relevant VLAN IDs.

Will Sophos XG install break if I swap physical network cards?
