2 port 40GbE QSFP+ Flexi Port Module (for SG/XG 210 rev.3 & 230/3xx/4xx rev.2 only)

I presume that that these module is not equiped with transceivers. Does Sophos offer their 40GbE transceivers or just recommend 3rd party (https://support.sophos.com/support/s/article/KB-000037169?language=en_US)

Another question: Can we use 1GbE transceiver in 10 GbE SFP+ interface in XG or it must be 10 GbE transceiver?

Sophos does not offer 40 GBe transceivers. You have to purchase third party transceivers. 

You can "downgrade" use 1 Gb in 10 GB modules. But not in all modules. Check the table of your Link.

One more question: All 40 GbE transceivers in that link ar short range.  Does Sophos also have such list of  40 GbE LR models?

Those are only the tested. Other one could work, but you need (unfortunately) test them by yourself.
