RED60 Bricked, No WAn Connection on WAN 1/2

Hi,

so i have this XG 18.0.3 / RED60 Problem and now the RED 60 seems to not usable.

Is there any way to inject / upload the previous firmware to the RED 60?

I think currently there is this Bugged 3.0.002 flashed.

Thanks

Jürgen

  • Identity the issue using LED status :

When you restart the RED, what is the status of LED on RED.

  • Internet not Reachable .. (red, green, dark, dark)
    On 3 ISP Lines ...
    Every Notebook get´s Internet.

I was able to provision the RED60 with USB again.

Failed today again, no Traffic. (ALL 4 LED´s green)

  • Kindly share "LED booting codes" status as well.

  • System Green, Router blinks, Internet + Tunnel Dark.
After USB Provisioning all 4 are green.

All is green, but no DHCP in BO, fails to connect any Devices from BO to HO.

  • Try to check tcpdump on port 67 and 68 and see if there is any DHCP traffic coming to XG on RED interface.

  • I am not shure, but i think there is no traffic from reds1 into local LAN

    SG210_WP01_SFOS 17.5.14 MR-14-1# tcpdump -i reds1 port 67 and port 68

    But ...

I have Windows 2016 DHCP in local Subnet 192.168.0.0/24 and a FW Rule LAN to RED any,any

  • For RED, do you have DHCP on XG? if not have you configured DHCP relay? screenshot would be helpful
Do you have firewall rule from RED zone to LAN zone?

Also check drop packet capture for port 67 and 68.

  • Hi,

i have 4 DHCP Server on XG.

I have no DHCP Relay, Sophos is not able to tell me how i could do this for the Clients behind RED60.
This is RED 60 DHCP Settings.

I have a RED to LAN rule

    S: LAN, (PortE0,reds1), Src Network: local, RED60

    D: LAN (PortE0, reds1), Dest Network: local, RED60

    Services: Any

This has been verified by Sophos support and it´s ok.
