We have had an SG210 in place for several years. I recently purchased an XG to replace it. I was attempting to configure the XG (just having the LAN port connected to our network) so that we could minimize downtime. It appears I am unable to register it unless the WAN port is connected to my ISP's router. I am not sure the order in which to configure the components. Every time I go to configure a setting, things to pick from haven't been configure yet so I just keep going in circles.
Has anyone made this switch that can provide some insight? Obviously the interface is completely different and items are grouped differently which is not helping the issue.
