slow connection on my RED15W AND RED50 devices provisioned with my XG230

A few days ago my connection from my REDw devices has become extremely slow I can't even reach 1mb of speed I have the REDW added to a different LAN zone with its own rules

I have the firmware for the XG: SFOS 17.5.14 MR-14-1 AND FOR THE NETWORK: 3.0.002

I have added the REDw to the LAN zone with their respective permissions but I get the same result, I don't reach 1MB of speed

can you help me please

  • Hello Marcos,

Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community!

Was there any change on the connection where the RED devices are connected?  or in the Firewall?

Do you find any error under /log/red.log?

If you check on the  XG for the RED interface, do you see any error when you run the command below?

    #ifconfig

Try running this command from the console to see if there's any change in the speed

console> set ips ac_atp exception fwrules 2 (where 2 in this example is the Firewall rule used by the RED device)

    Regards,

  • Hi good day I have done the steps that you have told me I have run such -f /log/red.log but can't find anything more than this:

    Sat Dec 12 09:13:16 2020 REDD INFO: Red devices: Connected: 11 Disconnected 0 Enabled: 11 Disabled: 0

Also execute the command #ifconfig and I do not see any error in the interfaces, finally execute set ips .... but I did not obtain any result I cannot obtain 1mb in the connection, I can attach or send you the .log file

I would appreciate your support Cheers!

    Thank you for the follow-up!

Please open a case with support and provide me the Case ID so I can follow-up!

I do see dropped packets, but they are not too many!
