STAS and Google Chrome Authentication Issues

Does anyone know if this is still an active issue:

This appears to have started for us just this morning. The workaround on Chrome for us is to have users click "Advanced" and then "Sign in" and it forwards them to our captive portal. Although usually STAS authenticates them. I know the url above is for STAC, but does this relate to STAS too?
