Sophos web filter categories

Question

Hello 
 
 does anyone know where sophos get there web site categories from? or do they evaluate sites themselves? 
 I'm being asked by our director and cant seem to find any information

I believe Sophos maintain their own Web Categories database. 
 You can check this information with a Sales Engineer. or a VAR.
