Anyone using Sophos XG firewalls?

Is anyone else here using Sophos XG firewalls? We are having an issue with the IPsec tunnels going down randomly and not trying to reconnect. Sophos's recommendation is to update the firmware to the latest release, but with their track record of having issues with their updates, I'm hesitant.

    I had this issue a few firmware versions ago, but only with Sophos to Sophos. At the time, I also had a non-Sophos device connected via IPsec that did not experience these mysterious drops. I now use SSL site-to-site VPN for the two Sophos connection and it has yet to drop in years (without some other issue causing it). I could not get a reason as to why this was happening. It's not a clean way to address the initial problem, but since SSL s-to-s VPN works, I stopped asking.
