Greylisting - Reduce timeout

Is there a way to reduce the default greylisting timeout, perhaps through the CLI?
5 mins is too long and going back through the logs I am missing many valid emails.

I noticed a lot of emails that are retried multiple times in the first 2-3 mins and then never reappear - annoying to miss them. The 5 min delay is also annoying with a  number of MFA and email confirmations that are either lost or delayed beyond their validity period. And in terms of spam senders emails, I disn’t see any with reattempted delivery, so a shorter delay would be better than disabling the feature.

But after persisting with it for 6 months and trying to quickly add domains as “safe senders” when I am expecting something,I have turned greylisting off again until I can work out how to reduce it to something like 30-60”.

  • Thats the reason, why greylisting is loosing its relevance in the last years... Nobody is using it, as it has literally no impact on the  other end. Nobody can tell you, if you will get your Email at all and "when".

Most customer i now disable this feature across the board. Most public provider does not use greylisting and moved to other solutions.

As far as i know, there is no switch to reduce this to another delay.
