Sophos XG VM - Demo to Monthly Key

Hey there,

I have an XG firewall (V18.03) running as virtual machine with a demo license. Now I want to enter the bought key from Sophos Central (Firewalls -> Request virtual firewall). The problem is i didn´t see the license windows from start anymore. 

Could you tell me, wehre I can activate the key?

    That is actually not possible. You do not get a "Key", instead you get a Serialnumber. In Sophos XG, the Serialnumber is coded into the system after applying. 

    So you need to reinstall your firewall and use the new MSP SN. Restore you backup afterwards. 

    The reason is quite simple: MSP (monthly) does not have Trials. They have "nothing" and "Paid".
