Export Data from Sophos XG 330

Hello Community!
I have two open questions.
I have already clicked through the Sophos, but have not found anything suitable.

- Can I export a list with all users who have active two-factor authentication?
- Can I export the SSL VPN certificates (cert + private key) to create the VPN configuration?

Info to question 1: I would like to make a SQL comparison with my AD, which users have active two-factor authentication, because the settings in the Sophos web interface are a bit poor to compare >250 users.

Info to question 2: Currently the download of the VPN configuration via the client portal is broken in the version SFOS 18.0.3 MR-3. However, I can use the data (/config/) to have the VPN configurations assembled manually / automatically. I would use it to let the automatic run 100% automatically, export the certificates and private keys. What is the easiest way to do this?
I was hoping I could create a second SSH user to synchronize with the data with a local server, but that's not possible. I would not like to specify the admin for a sync job.

Hope you have some good answers Slight smile

  • You should move to Sophos Connect for Question 2, as this would be automatically do this job for you. So no need to perform this.

PS: This is not possible in XG.

You can export all users from XG, use import/export option. The usernames should be covered by the XML. Simply use a tool, that can export single lines in the XML.

  • I have set up the Sophos Connect Client.
But it doesn't really deliver better values.
Here I also get a maximum of about 40Mbit/s for data exchange and 60Mbit/s for speed tests on the Internet

The export function via the web interface worked for the necessary data first.
Had hoped that there would be an automatic to create a nice report. So there is still a manual to-do to export this data.
