Allow All Internet Access For Domain Group

Hello:

New to Sophos XG.

I have a domain group called All Internet Access that I need to allow full and unrestricted access to the internet. I am unsure as to how to allow this?

Thanks.

    Hi ,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!

Did you integrate your AD server with Sophos XG and imported the groups? If yes, you can configure a firewall rule with user identity and add the required user group. Within this firewall rule, you could control advanced security settings such as web, application, and IPS policies.

Check out the following KBA for more info: Sophos Firewall: Options for creating user-based firewall rules

    Thanks,

  • Hi,

full and unrestricted access to the internet - that would mean a firewall rule without webfiltering option.

So an example would be any LAN source (you filter per user) and any WAN source (any in the internet), any port/service.

to disable any filtering unselect any web filtering and application control.

maybe you create an put a IPS rule in place as seen below.
