Site2Site Tunnel with overlapping IP Ranges (Part 2)

Hi all,

we are moving from one department to another.

During the movement of server and clients I expected to use that link (https://support.sophos.com/support/s/article/KB-000035848?language=en_US) to establish a transparent network with same IP addresses on both sides.

But when digging deeper to that I understand that this is not working because NAT is in place.

So I expected: I am moving a server from old to new location. Then this server reaches its environemt (for example DCs or Datebase Server) with their original address no matter where they are (old or new location). But I am wrong, because I need to use the NATted address what will NOT work!

So there is no transparent way of providing IP addresses from same subnet (with their unique IP) no matter on which side of the tunnel. Right ;-(
