Sophos XG - Group sync from AD : unable to delete the group

Hello,

Problem: I have synced two groups from Active Directory and imported in the authentification under groups. No i want to delete them. But when i do this the sophos told me, that the deletion is OK. But the group will not be deleted.

I have deleted all users, all firewall rules. When i export the complete configuration and looking in the XML-File, this both groups are only under the group-configuration.

Is there a possibility to see, why the sophos XG told me that he deleted the groups but thats wrong?

What is the current firmware version on your firewall? I'm able to delete AD user groups in my test environment firewall running SFOS v17.5 MR14-1.

it is version v 17.5 MR12

in the protocoll stands that the group is successfully deleted. Thats definitiv wrong

When i changed the entities.xml file and delete this groups, the sophos tells me that the import is OK.

But the groups are not deleted. I cannot make any change within the group
