Sophos Connect Client

HI All

I have created a IPSEC connection using * for the remote gateway and also I have sophos connect client and whenever I insert password for the IPsec tunnel it changes the sophos connect client what can I do

    Thank you for reaching out to the Community! 

    If the remote gateway is * for multiple IPsec connections and if you are changing PSK to 1 tunnel which has remote gateway *, this action will update PSK to all such remote connection or tunnel which contains remote gateway *.

    This is intended behavior and true for such kind of IPsec remote access where the remote gateway is any (*).

    So it will cover or include IPSec site to site tunnel ( 1 or more tunnel with remote gateway * ) with remote gateway Any, Sophos connect client with PSK and L2TP as well with PSK.

    Changing the PSK key to any one of them will update the key to all of them.

    From the XG v 17.5.0 MR5 onward when you update the PSK for such tunnels you will be prested with the popup. 

    I would suggest you configure the Authentication type as "Digital Certificate" for Sophos Connect Client to avoid this behavior.
