Accessing services hosted on our static IPs

Hi,

I'm having an issue at a location with a new XG firewall that I'm wondering if anyone has run into...

The firewall is behind a cable modem, with a web server plugged into the modem. The web server has a static IP assigned. Let's call this x.x.x.55

The firewall also has its own static IP configured on its WAN interface, let's call that x.x.x.54/30

The problem is when I access the static IP of the web server (x.x.x.55) from the LAN, the XG seems to be responding to that IP instead of sending the request out it's WAN interface. When I attempt to access that IP from the LAN, I am directed to the SSLVPN user portal of the XG. If I attempt to access the same IP from another network, it works fine and the page from the web server is given.

How do I configure the XG to send requests for x.x.x.55 out the WAN interface, so they make it to the web server?

Thanks!

  • .55 is the broadcast address of a /30 network.
It is destinated to all hosts within this network.
So the .54 taking the request too.
