What do you want to do with the users? Why importing them? Maybe there is another approach? 

i have also same requirements and i need to add 800 users in couple of days

i have also same requirements and  need to add 100 users daily in our University. It is really disappointing

We want import feature back...We have hundreds of sophos units under our account and with all new updates, you make life harder for us...It is such an important feature for us that we daily import tens of users to units. We had already started to look for alternative solutions if that feature does not come back.
