I have a client with a XG125 (v17.5.5) they are using port 9 with a VDSL adapter and that is working fine and has been for about 18 months. They now have another internet connection which they want to use to terminate their VPN connections on using the XG firewall. We do not require failover. just the two wan links configured for 2 separate jobs.
When I go and configure port 8 as the second WAN link (without plugging anything into it) the VDSL connection drops and will not come buck up until we power cycle the XG125.
I was wondering if there is a way to configure a second WAN to be independent of the primary one. All the firewall rules are configured to use port 9 so that is not an issue however the VDSL link dropping as soon as i create a second WAN port is a big issue.
