Was just wondering what the general feel is to push to Sophos Central going forward, namely in relation to managing firewalls and reporting.

Was just wondering in general how everyone is finding it.
Personally i am a fan of cloud services in general. I do not want to maintain a platform, keep everything up2date, worry about connection and attack surfaces etc. That seems to be the trend in the entire (IT) industry to drive cloud management platforms forward.
Reporting on the other hand has some acceleration possibilities. For example if you have the logs in the cloud, other modules can use them for analyse purposes. See: SIEM. I do not want to be responsible for all the data and the backups of those data etc. Depending on the size but for my personal usage, i do not see a reason to use a NAS anymore. Now everything is backup into Onedrive.
The same is likely to happen to the entire industry.

You assume that people have high speed upload to allow backup of the pc? I wouldn’t be using for a Mac because a 20mb/s link takes many hours to backup even partial and if you have a number of devices on your network the the link will be clogged.
