blocking files

i have been using ftp protocol to upload and download executable files and document files,exe files should be blocked and doc files should be allowed while using ftp.created couple of policies and attached to firewall rule ,bt its not working.

could some one assist ??

Hi,

(Correct me If I'm wrong), but It isn't possible to filter FTP by file extension, on the first image that you showed - It's only for Web Filtering.

Again, It's not possible to block a certain file extension over FTP, the only thing you can select is "Scan FTP for malware" that will block only malware, another thing that is possible is to block FTP Download or Upload, that can be done over a Application Control Policy.
