LACP WITH DLINK DGS-1510-28P MULTIPLE VLAN SETUP

Dear Engineers

My self RENJITH , recently we purchase XG-125 firewall for our office. We have DGS-1510-28P as distribution switch, this switch contain four vlans (VLAN100,VLAN87,VLAN10 & VLAN1 (Default) ). I tried to configure LACP on this switch with Sophos xg firewall. I configured lag ports as Port 1 & 3 in the sophos xg firewall and port1&2 in the DGS-1510-28P . The switch is supporting 802.3ad protocol.

Here the firewall will work as dhcp server for all vlans

The problem is when i enable LACP on Dlink switch the Vlans are not getting ip from sophos XG firewall, after i remove the LACP from switch the vlans getting proper ip address from xg fw

Both device all parameters are same , I dont understand why it is happening

Also if i configure the switch and sophos xg firewall with default vlan the LACP is working fine

Can you help me to solve the issue....

Do you use V18.0 MR3? Did you create the LAG as 802.3ad?

Yes am using v18.0

I created lag group like above (Currently i disabled the lacp on dlink and connected one cable with xg )

Hi, I don't know the d-link setup, but did you enable the vlans on the link aggregation port. Seems to me you didn't.. I've got an home setupr with LACP, working perfect with vlan's.

Also, on the Link Aggregation setup you have Load Balancing on source mac, it's better to set this to source/dest mac or better source/dest ip/port, so you can set the XG to layer 3+4 in the advanced section. The higher layer, the better load-balancing you get.

Seems the D-link supports Source Destination IP hashing, thats layer 3.
