Notifications of new emails not coming through

We deployed Office 365 in June. Recently some people have reported that they are not receiving email notifications when connected to the companies wifi. The emails are being received, but not the notifications. If they disconnect from the wifi, all the notifications come flooding thru. Has anyone else experienced this problem ?

We are using Sophos XG Firewall Firmware version SFOS 17.5.14 MR-14-1
