XG 17.5 on UTM 110/120 Rev 5

Hi everybody!

I have two UTM 110/120 Rev 5 that now are running the UTM 9 home version. Is possible to install an SSD and install the XG firmware home edition? I've tried in one of the two appliances using an external CD buy when I try to insert the serial Number After the installation I receive an error: the appliance cannot reach the activation server. There Is any way to resolve this issue? Is there any option to modify in the bios? Thank you so much for your help!

Hi, the licence server requires an internet connection, basically nothing blocking it. Unless the devices have 4gb of memory you will not be able to upgrade beyond v17.5.x. Changing the disk drive…

Changing the disk drive should allow you to install XG.

Yes! I've done the installation but now the physical port 4 is considered by the software the port 1 (LAN). There is a way to correct the order of the hardware ports as in the utm 9?

no, not with the current version. You might care to search the features request pages to ase if a submission exists, if not please feel free to create one.
