Wifi using Secondary Backup WAN Link

I was setting up a clients XG18. The client has 2 WAN links. The secondary is a 4g metered connection, in backup mode via WAN link manager.

1. I was wired to the LAN port and surfed to ipchicken.com and saw the WAN1 public IP, great!

2. connected to the wifi network which is in a seperate zone. Got a DHCP address assigned to me(looking good),

went to ipchicken.com and got the WAN2 public IP. What?!

3. disconnected from wifi, had internet through the wired LAN still. Went to ipchicken.com and its the WAN1 public again.

4. connected to the wifi network, went to ipchicken.com and got the WAN2 public IP. What?!

What am I doing wrong here, why is wifi using WAN2?
