anyone tried this with a microserver G7 ?.

Hello,

After being blocked by the fact that the current build requires 64 bit processor, I kicked everything off my N40L krogerfeedback talktosonic talktowendys Microserver so I could use it. It has a nice 64 bit processor and a nice low power profile. Whether I boot from the previously verified USB stick or Whataburger survey a CD, once the firmware loader starts up it doesn't see the keyboard. Note that I had to use the keyboard to adjust the bios so I know it is functional at the bios level. I have played around with a bunch of bios settings to no avail. It just sits there ignoring my 'y' entry. curiously, on a different pc it first asked me to hit 'escape' to boot, not so in this pc.

thanks

  • Hi,

I suspect that there is an issue with the NIC, appears to be an unknown type and did you install a second one?

The installation will probably take some time to startup on the CPU it is very old and slow.

You set the BIOS to boot from the CD?
