Switch WAN port from Port 2

New install of XG Home 18.0.1 on an i3 7100 PC with 8 built-in ports. I'd like to change the WAN port from port2 to port8 to provide physical separation of WAN to LAN or other ports and so that if I bridge ports together with port1 that they will all be together in a group. I can define port8 as a WAN port and give it a gateway name. If I switch the cable from port2 to port8 I see port 8 get's a link and is assigned the right IP but I can't seem to get traffic through the XG device. I thought I might have to change firewall rules, but as I looked at the policies it looked like everything was referencing WAN, not specific ports, so I figured I might be OK there.

On the WAN management screen they both show with red dots when I connect port8.  Do I need to configure failover or somehow disable port2 before port8 will work? I was trying to get port8 working before I changed port2, but maybe that was not the right plan.
