How to change ownership

I just bought a used XG 115 and am learning the ropes. I've factory reset it and ensured it's on the latest firmware.

I did run across a page in the GUI, though, that still had the previous owner's name and e-mail address. It survive multiple resets and wasn't changeable. And it made me wonder if I would have trouble using it fully, especially with cloud or subscription services, if it was still listed under the previous owner's account.

What do I (and the prior owner) need to do to make sure this gets cleared in the Sophos system and change device ownership?

    you will need to raise a support case to get changes done.

    alsoyou will need a fresh install after changes are done so you can add your details as part of your licence.
