I have 2 RED tunnels on my XG. I would like to use policy based routing to direct traffic over a specific RED. Is that possible?
What I am trying to do is to use RED tunnels for failover. I have two RED tunnels that go from one XG to another over different WAN ports. I was hoping if an interface went down, the XG would ignore the static route pointing to the interface that was down, but that didn't happen. RED1 has a weight of 0, RED2 has a weight of 10. If RED1 goes down, the XG still tries to use it.
I tried to make a policy route by defining RED1 and RED2 gateways, but traffic didn't route. It still tried to go out the default route directly to the WAN.
