SOPHOS FIREWALL XG 310 RULES AND POLICIES DID NOT WORK

I been configuring my sophos firewall for almost a wee and still can't figure out the rules and policies hopefully someone can save me regarding for my concern.

I just need a help regarding for my setup in my firewall rules and policies. I've setup a vlan for a wi-fi that has a filter for web policy and application policy. But if my rules is under the default network policy it didn't work. Please see images for your reference.

Can you show us your WIFI VLAN? Is it attached to XG? Which Zone has it?

My vlan is not attached to XG. All my vlan are configure in my switch. The only purpose of my XG is for me to block the unnecessary website and apps and a replacement for my router device.

part of the answer is very simple. you need the block firewall rules above the allow all rules. The rule order of process is from the top down until a match is found

Hi,

Already do that but when I move the firewall rule above my default network policy there will be no internet connection for the vlan I used.

Which means the ip address range used on your vlan is not in your firewall rule.
