XG activity monitor > AD users.

Hi all,

under Current Activities > live Connections you can see a list of current application events taking place, but the user says "-" and not the active directory user.

I have been into authentication and added the AD servers.

I've been into Authentication > services and ticked my AD servers under "Firewall Authentication methods". (so local, Dc1, DC2 are ticked).

but still i cant get the AD users to list in the activities screen.

Please can someone point me to a doc that will explain what i need to setup to monitor out staff?

hi all, me again.. just reading up on someone elses old post, there is a feature called STAS that needs to be enabled..

if i understand this correctly, i have to install a STAS program on my DC, and enable it on my Firewall.

Hello David,

Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community!

That sounds about right, if you want your users to show under the Live User and to be authenticated using your DC, you would need to install STAS in your DC.

Check this KB on how to configure STAS. or this KB too.
