Allow "text/x-msdos-batch" in Mime Whitelist ? (how)

Hi,

i used XG 17.5.14.

How can i allow Files Types in email / Policies?
I have a smtp rule and File protection enabled.

There is a Block file types and a MIME white list.

How can i add Outlook .vcf card into this whitelist.

I get this message in a email.

MIME-Filter has removed this attachment
Filtered by content type: text/x-msdos-batch

regards

Jürgen

    Hi

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!

Navigate to PROTECT > Email > File type > Add > Add file extension as "vcf", MIME header as "text/x-msdos-batch" and give it a name and save it.

Now open the SMTP policy and find the newly created file type from block file and add it to the MIME white list by drag and drop. Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks,

  • Thanks H_Patel,
i already tried this today, and it still fails.

Sophos Support redirect me to my own thread ...

I played with some CTRL Select with Mouse and Klick on some on the right entries.
And this is what i came up with now.

    This seems to work.
I even don´t need to add vcf as a extra extension.

    But still confusing.
