Use Existing Active Directory DHCP Server

Hello:

I am setting up a new Sophos XG 210 firewall. I plan to use the Sophos VPN in the future. How do I allow my current Windows Active Directory DHCP server to hand out IP addresses and not use the Sophos DHCP? Thank you.

  • Hello Clay,

Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community!

SSL VPN will only work with the XG inbuilt DHCP, however, Sophos Connect Client can be configured to use your RADIUS server for assigning IP addresses instead of using the XG.

You can follow this KB to configure Sophos Connect Client, the part where you tell to use RADIUS instead of the XG DHCP is under Client Information section.

    Regards,
