License "Unsubscribed"

I am in a real bind, we purchased a Sophos XG 550 to replace our XG 450 unit.  We didn't realize at the time that we were purchasing a license "renewal" as part of this upgrade and that our new license wouldn't be ready until September 16th for us. The licesnes say "Unsubscribed" and when I asked support they told me I couldn't use them until the 16th which doesn't help me at all. We scheduled the replacement maintenance window for tomorrow (Friday August 21st 2020) and we don't have much room to change that date.  We really need this 550 in before the start of the semester on the 31st of this month and I haven't heard back from support or my account rep. 

We tried to run the "30 day evaluation" license but it won't let me activate on anything that is set to be subscribed on the 16th of September!  I am very much in a bind about this and would love any suggestions the community has to get me through this tomorrow and have a licensed firewall for the install tomorrow.

  • Thank you for your assistance H_Patel.  This was indeed fixed by the licensing team on the back end.  If anyone runs into this issue the best method is to get licensing support involved and have them fix it for you on their end.  I ended up having to do a manual license "sync" for this to work.  It is now working in "Evaluation" mode for 30 days until our license becomes available.
