Slow Upload Speed on symmetrical 10G

I just got a symmetric gigabit connection (10G).
When using Sophos XG, I get close to the full download speeds, but the upload is a fraction what I should get (300-400mbit).

I have tryed with a ALL ALL ALLOW Rule I disabled also IPS and other stuff but no chance..

SFOS 17.5.12 MR-12 / SFOS 18.0.1 MR-1-Build396
(tested with both and with MTU 9000 on v18). When I I was connected directly to the Modem/Router I reached the right speed, so it's an issue from the FW.

I don't know if it's important to know but I have many Error the whole day (Gateway going down a few minutes later came up)

  • Check your interface with ethtool.

Try to disable IPv6 on the WAN Interface.

Try to reproduce the Upload from the WAN interface, if possible. Upload a big file to /tmp/ and upload it via FTP to a server, if you find some server and check, what your WAN Upload speed is on the WAN interface.
