Sophos XG 210 Public Static IP

Question

hello community, 
 I wanted to know if it is possible to give a public static IP address to a specific device. For example my ISP provides me with 175.235.16.16 and I want to give a specific address to a machine giving it for example 178.162.16.87. is it possible ?

Hi, 
 would depend on the address range you have been assigned, but I suspect you will need to the use the assigned address. 
 Your request is not that clear, but the address assigned will be used externally not internally.

 the address you nave been assigned is for the external interface of your XG only.

Hi Cedric, 
 you will need to use a 10, 172 or 192 address range internally. The XG has a default internal 172.16.16.0/24 IP address range.
