LACP and Vlans

I have this configuration, a LACP of 2 phishical networks with 2 vlans

I want a server in 10.10.30.2 to see a server in 10.10.40.4

The only way I have achieve that is doing a rule from DMZ to DMZ any any any.... Any other combination without ANY's doesn't work,.

If I try to do this I can't even ping the machine, the problem is that #LACP is not a network, it just reffers to 10.10.30.1 and #LACP.40 is 10.10.40.1 so is not a network is the IP of the gateway.

Is there a way to configure wihtout adding an IP-Range that I want the 10.10.30.0/24 network to connecto to the 10.10.40.2/24 network, in a more elegant way? or should I create network in host and services?

  • Hi,

seems a very complex way of linking servers. Now assuming they are MS servers they will be trying to use non routable protocols to communicate with each other?

Would that appear to be your issue?

  • I created network hosts now it works.

I do a lacp layer 3+4 to get the performance bonus and the vlans for security.

Servers with open ports are in one vlan the rest in the other one
