Does anyone else have a strange issue that sometimes their FW just doesn't seem to respond and everything becomes slow ?

So I have an XG 135 device, But on an odd occassion it becomes really slow , Browsing is slow , the Gui is slow and hangs .

If I try go to the FW rules it gives me this error . I mean Im on the darn FW now.

Also these are in a cluster Active Passive , The one is turned off so this one becomes a stand alone. But it wont let me upgrade the firmware as its not the primary member .

The load on the FW is also really low ??

It doesn't make sense , Its happened t me on a bunch of Sophos XG devices that arent in HA mode, Why would this happen ?

Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community.

You might find more information on why this is happening if when the issue is happening you SSH into the XG and type the following commands:

#csc custom status

You might want to find any Busy service

# top

To see if a service is taking some CPU

I have that issue with Firefox, just close the browser and clean cache or try with another browser.

I have the same popup.

Hi,

I get that error message when the external link DHCP server has been restarted but the WAN link itself has not failed. Usually have to restart the XG to internet connectivity back.
