Path specific routing in Sophos XG Firewall 18

Hello,

is it still possible to do path specific routing in v18 of the Sophos XG Firewall?

The problem is as follows:
url.company.com:443 should be routed to webserver1.internal
url.company.com:443/subwebsite should be routed to webserver2.internal/subwebsite

I know this was possible in v17 as we've used this on several occasions but with v18 i can't create a WAF Business Application Rule anymore. In this rule there was an option to do path specific routing.
How can i recreate this behavior using v18? Or am i just blind and can't see this option? All the KB articles i've found use v17.

Thanks in advance and kind regards,
Marco

  • Hi,

Yes you can, the WAF Rule is now located in "Action" Tab. The same Tab that have the options Drop/Allow/Reject.

Also, the creation of path specific routing is on the same place as before.

    Thanks!
