Need help browsing remote network via Sophos Connect

I connect to my office via Sophos Connect.

I just formatted my home PC and reinstalled Connect. I imported the connection file and connected just fine. But, I can't access remote shares. One of them is \\ap-files and Windows says it can't connect to it. This was all working fine before, so I know the problem is on the client side. Any help is appreciated!

I get a virtual IP of 10.0.100.5

DNS servers are correct 10.0.0.201, 10.0.0.204

Remote network is 10.0.0.0/24

I can connect to remote devices via IP, just not via name.

When you do the lookup for ap-files is end LAN system IP getting resolved by DNS 10.0.0.201, 10.0.0.204 from end system which is connect to Sophos connect client?

Is "register this connections address in DNS (dynamic DNS registration)" checked on TAP adapter? If not can you set yes and confirm the status?

I can get it working by adding ap.local as a DNS suffix for the connection - see image.

The problem is if I disconnect and reconnect, that setting is reset. Is there a way to make it persist?

Nevermind. I see. I had to use the admin tool to set the DNS suffix for the connection file and then import it again.

Thanks for the update and yes you are correct.

Yes you may choose the config file in SCA and make below option changes with required details.

Section : "[Optional] Sophos Connect admin tool installation and configuration" from below KBA will give you information on same.

Once changes done, import that file and that will fix the issue.
