Apply UTM license to XG SFOS

sorry you cannot import a utm licence into an XG, you need to login to mySophos and convert your utm licence to an XG licence.

I think it is under network protection -> transfer licences, if not you will need to start a case with Sophos customer support.

There is an article in the KBA about migrating, for some strange reason I cannot copy the link at the moment using my iPad.

All those articles are showing me what I get when I migrate. But they don't actually show you how to migrate your UTM license after you have installed and configured XG on a SG appliance.

In this article https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/124588 under step 8 you can upload your UTM license. I had the impression that I can perfom this step afterwards aswell.

you can, but eventually you need to proceed to step 9. If you wait until you have installed the software you would be running on a trial licence.

There is no option to upload a utm license afterwards once you have already configured it. 
I have created a support case regarding that.
