Sophos firewall XG 106

I have Sophos xg 106 firewall and some one from our ISP configure an IP address and I couldn't get that IP in this case I couldn't login to wed admin console to manage the device I have tried the default IP (172.16.16.16) but it didn't work how can I access the device

Hi,

are you inside the lan or remotely trying to access the XG?

The address you have tried is for internal only.

do you a n external dns setup for address registration?

Am inside the lan and am directly connected to the device from port 1.

And the problem is I couldn't get the right IP address from the person who configure it earlier.

previously the IP address for the Bridge interface is 10.14.6.1 but the person changed into other IP which is I don't know

Hi,

assuming you are using DHCP on the internal network you should be able to obtain the correct IP information and then connect.
