Does Rule#2 as explained in de Sophos UTM groups (https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/f/general-discussion/22065/rulz) apply to Sophos XG?

    No it does not. 

    As XG handles connections differently, it depends on your configuration.

     

    SD-WAN Policy can actually cut everything. 

    XG has a Route precedence and can difference between Static, SD-WAN and VPN Routes.

    NAT will applied on different locations (SNAT / DNAT). 

     

    There are many differences in this process. What are you looking for?

    Thank you for responding. I'm not looking for something in particular. I just remembered this forum post and was wondering whether it also applied to  Sophos XG or not.
    Always trying to learn more about my  XG...
